Our Story
Storch Farms is a family farm business based in Napoleon, Ohio. We develop Commercial Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, and Sweet Corn. Our business plan is to focus on the production of crops as well as our service to our customers. We devote our assets and commitment to everyone from landowners, employees and consumers.
Our vision is to sustain profitable yields and safe products while building a net gain for our employees and partners. Storch Farms contracts a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) to gather soil samples for labs that create reports to allow us to custom fit each individual field with its own nutrient plan. Our business includes a variety of services that include: Nutrient Application, Chemical Application by Certified Applicators, Roadside Mowing, Agronomic Reports (Upon Request), and More!

Land Stewardship:
We, as a family, as well as a business, are stewards of rich fertile soils and clean waters. Viability and sustainability is a classical tradition at Storch Farms and has been part of our agricultural business plan for past, present and future generations. We view viability as a three legged stool: environmental, social and economic. Each leg is self-sufficient and compatible part of a whole. Our goal is to positively act upon the land we farm and the business we serve.

Products:
Storch Farms was started in the heart of Northwest, Ohio, in the late 1800’s raising corn, oats, wheat, soybeans, and a variety of livestock. Today we produce corn, soybeans, wheat, and sweet corn to be used by end users such as chicken, pork, beef, dairy producers and ethanol production. Our farm operation in Northwest, Ohio allows us to utilize our resources to support every consumers physiological needs.
Commercial Corn
Our commercial corn is produced and used in many different ways. From consumer products, livestock feed, ethanol, and fiber products. To assist in the demand for the American crop; on the farm, our yield averages have grown from an average of 120 bushels per acre in the 1970s to now over 210 bushels per acre in 2017.
Soybeans
Our soybean production will find its way to Archer Daniels Midland (ADM Grain Co). The soybean grain have many different benefits to our environment. The grain consists of oils and protein of which aids in consumer healthy diets. Biodiesel is yet another product made from Soybeans. Biodiesel is on the rise in many vehicles around the globe and has proven itself to benefit the environment.
Sweet Corn
Our sweet corn production is processed and sold locally to the community in Northwest, Ohio at a unique vegetable-stand out front of Storch Farms as well as being sold in stores. We now supply to the Chief Super Market in Napoleon and Wauseon, Ohio. Our sweet corn business is determined to expand in many levels.
